Mark D. Ogletree, Ph.D.
Mark D. Ogletree is a professor at Brigham Young University, where he teaches classes on marriage and family relationships. He has also been a therapist for the past thirty-five years.
Mark holds a bachelor’s degree from BYU in Human Resource Development, a master’s from Northern Arizona University in Mental Health Counseling, and a Ph.D. from Utah State University in Family and Human Development.
He is the author of numerous books and articles on marriage, family, parenting, mental health, and contemporary Church history. He has served in many leadership roles in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, including stake president, bishop, high councilor, young men’s leader, and ward mission leader.
Mark and his wife, Janie, reside in Utah and have eight children and thirty-one grandchildren. They host the weekly podcast Preserving Families, and Mark also hosts Stand by My Servants.
